JUNIORS OFFICERS President Vi ce-President Secretary-Treasurer FIRST SEMESTER Robert Peters Ellis Rail Joyce Bartak Donna McFarland SECOND SEMESTER Ellis Rail Robert Peters Dick Simonson Lester Panels The junior class, with its twenty-five members, was the smallest class in West Point High School that year. Although the juniors were small in number, everyone of them had an interest in his studies, and took an active part in other school activities. The juniors held a picnic at Dead Timber in September, for their first social event of the year. Before Christmas vacation, they held a very festive party in the junior high assembly. The juniors presented a three-act play, The Missing Heirs , on November 20, to a very large audience. The Ellis Hall President twelve members of the play cast received enthusiastic applause for their efforts. Along with their social activities, the juniors held their own in school organizations and activities. Five of the juniors entered the declamatory contest. Several of them were in band, G.A.A., and Pep Club; and many o f them received honor-roll grades. On May 16, 1946, they presented a banquet for the seniors which will always be remembered. Miss Lallman and Miss Pellatz were the class sponsors that year. Dick Simonson Secretary
