In addition to the daily illness, Mrs. Scofield processed phy sicals, reported disabilities, tested hearing and vision and handled all P.E. excuses. When the bookstore wasn't open to students, Mrs. Tanner and Mrs. Moore handled club requisitions, school insurance, caps and gowns for seniors, and financial records for all clubs. Flexible scheduling led to more work for all - more food to buy and prepare, more students to plan for. A new snack bar line inside the cafeteria helped speed up all the snack bar activities and also prevented some damp students on rainy days. Despite the heavy load, the hard- working cafeteria staff, directed by Mrs. Ann Donahue, kept West's cafeteria running smoothly. ADMINISTRATION 23
