The oudience sot enthrolled ot the beouty of the bollet, The Spirit of Win- ter, performed to Tchoikovsky's Fifth Symphony, ond turned iitterbugs to the rhythm of the Swompy Stomp. Some Personal Glimpses: A , A Orchids toloe Pollock for his swell pinch-hitting for Morvin Becker. . A . Eleonor l-lollond's impersonotion of Miss Cullen brought down the house. , . . The horse with yellow ond oronge socks wos quite o success. . . . The only people who were unhoppy obout the sell-out were the ushers.
