'Yours the halls their tread will echo through While ours are hare and desolate, And the pictures on the wall look wistfully for Those who come no more. We do not envy you the treasure of their company. It once was ours and sharing it has made It seem more high. Sorrow but sharpens the lovely memory, And sadness brings each tale to a fitting close.
