Frankie Gallardo is sports editor for the newspaper and a member of the varsity basketball, baseball and football teams. Each year, with the graduation of each Senior Class, there are those members of that particular class remembered most for their scholastic achievement. This year, this group of students, known as the Top Ten, comprised an unusual combination of both scholastic achievement with an active participation in school activities and community affairs. The selection of this yearis Top Ten students was based on scholastic standings at the end of the first semester of these students? senior year. 66 Top 'IO' Seniors Combin Julie Jackson and Mary Rodriguez are both distributive education students. Mary is a FHA and DECA Club officer. Julie is Senior Class secretary, cheerleader and member of the Student Congress. ,. ii 2 2 Benny Gunter is sports editor for this year's annual, was on the varsity football and baseball teams and was named to Whois Who Among American High School Students. Gilbert Garcia and Mary Lou Martinez are both members of Upward Bound. Garcia is editor of the school paper and was named to Who's Who and Mary Lou is president of the Senior Class. G
