2 Band plays while photographer watches overhead. H Emotions Range From Mourning Students assemble in front of school for program. People's emotions are subject to violent contrasts and distortions in moments of anger, joy, sadness and relief. ln a schoolls atmosphere these emotions are just as much affected, if not more so, because of constant contact with many people. Two very real, vivid examples of these contrasts came in the form of a memorial program honoring those who have died in combat on Veter- anls Day and in everyday occurrences of laughter, gossip and joking. Traditionally, Veteran's Day is observed at West Oso with a special tribute paid to those students gradu- ated from our school. Sadness touches us often, but each school day is usually accent- uated by happy notes of laughter, telling jokes and just enjoying the opportunity to do a little gossiping between classes, Q,-GE new-pf
