Oso Fencing l Team Lunges A t Forward A fencing team originated this year as an extracurricular activity. Its members belong to the Amateur Fencing League of America and fence in Olympic com- petition with other fencers in Southern United States. 44

Togetherness was a much needed commodity around the journalism staff room, as 14 people earnestly struggled to put out both an annual and a newspaper. Their efforts didnit go unre- wardcd, though, the newspaper received a new scanning machine which made possible for the first time, the printing of pictures in the newspaper. That same paper staff for rather annual staffj worked diligently to meet deadlines for this book and here, at this very moment, you are reading part olf the end result of those struggles.
