T.. OLMPNN-l H55 QJVOIDILECQ This is a beautiful hotel isn't it, Bob? You said it. You know, Bob, it's a funny thing, but I was kind of skeptical about coming here today. I really didn't think anybody would remember. After all, ten years is a long time. Don't be so dubious, jess. Ever since we were classmates back in '48, I always re- member you as the kind of fellow who worries about every little thing. Now just sit back and relax, will ya? Everybody will show up. You know, jess, I really got a big thrill when I first saw you today. You really looked as though you were doing all right. Well, Bob, that job I have with the New York Times really keeps me on the run. I have to carry my little pad and take notes. That's right up your alley, if I remem- ber correctly. Didn't you write one of those things for the Nottingham News? Yes, I did. Say, Bob, you don't look as if you're doing too badly yourself. English slot collar, custom made suit. I'd say you're making out pretty well. Yeah, I'm doin' O. K. My wife and daughter wanted to come along with me to- day but it couldn't be arranged because I had some important business over on Wall Street. I just came from there, bought some stock for a client of mine. Keep up the good work, Bob. I'm goin' out in the lobby to see if anybody has ar- rived yet. Oh, no! Al Aronson is that you? Of course it's me. You just don't recog- nize me because my hair has hnally grown in. Well, jess, I graduate from Columbia Dental School in june. Ten long and weary years I have suffered, toiled, worked my fin- gers to the boneiu Now, now, Al, don't get dramatic on me. You know darn well that it was worth it. In no time at all you'll be a full-fledged Orthodontist. Yeah. I'm gonna make millions, pulling teeth out of peoples heads. What fun l'm gonna have! Pssst, Al, will you get a load of what just floated in. jess, is-is that 'Senator' Sarkisian? Yeah. Look at the boy, will ya? Top hat, monocle, tails. He really looks terrific. Hey, Senator, come over here and say hello to a couple of fellow classmates. Why' hello, hello, how are you? You're all looking swell, yes, you're all looking swell. You're looking pretty good yourself, 'Senatorf Whattya been doin' with your- self? Well, things have been going pretty smoothly for me, ah yes. I have procured a position as chief zoologist for one of our large museums. I'm pretty busy and work very'hard. I may go to Africa this summer, This summer that is. Good luck to you, 'Senatorf I'll see you a little later. 'Cablegram for Mr. jesse Strum. Cable- gram! Here, boy. Thank you, sir. Henry, oh Henry Bish- ins, come here a minute. How's the boy, jess. I've achieved my goal and I have a dental practice in Wash- ington. Lots of Congressmen and military brass come in to have their bridges fixed up. lt's a great business, jess, you oughta try it. Maybe I will one of these days, Henry. It sounds terrific, Oh, by the way, I just got a Cablegram from Ben-Haim and Afsar- Keshmiri. Listen to this, Hello, you all. It is sorry we are very much, that to come to your meeting we couldn't make it. We are hoping that everybody shows up. Afsar is making much money from being a doctor and I have a leetle drugstore here. Say to jim Maxwell to 'Shaddop' if see him you do. Saying goodbye to you, Ben-Haim and Afsar- Keshmirif' jess, did you show that to the other guys yet? I will. Henry, jess, come on over here a min- ute, or are you tryin' to be snobbish? lf it isn't 'Pop' Hewlett, and Bob Har- per. I'll say one thing for both of you. You both look like Successful businessmen.
