lanuary Senior Class Officers 4 ART HUEBNER BOB SMITH President Vice-President DOROTHY ZITTLE PHYLLIS GUBSER Secretary Treasurer Our class of Ianuary, l944, has the distinction of being the first mid-term graduating class of West Linn High School. Many of our class, both boys and girls, were already planning to join some branch of the armed service-they would not be here in Iune to come back for graduation exercises so mid-term exercises were held. We Wish to thank the faculty and our two able advisors, Miss Moffatt and Mr. Main, for their guidance through our three and a half years of high school. Although the semester passed rapidly, we had many good times and take away with us pleasant memories of West Linn High School.

or l MARILYN RUST DARRELL THOMPSON Vuiedictoriun Sulutntoricm Class Will We, the Ianuary graduating class of 1944, being about to possess our diplomas, still in our right minds and under no influences, do declare this our last will and testament, dividing our great abundance of hidden assets among our esteemed faculty and the poor and feeble-minded students who still at- tend this institution. To the Iune Class, we leave our reputation for them to live down. To the Iunior Girls, the hope that the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps leave enough freshman boys to go around. To the Iunior Boys, the sincere hope that you will receive your sheepskins before you move into the fox holes. Wayne Robertson leaves his knock-knees to Guy Foreman, fHow you gonna see air between 'em in the navy?l Norrene Peterson leaves her sailor boy friends to the sophomore girls. Chuck Marshall leaves his little brother ''Harmon-can-do-no-harm" Mar- shall for the girls to fight over. Claudia lsham leaves her string of broken hearts to any one who can mend them. Hank Quade leaves the trials and tribulations of a city editor to Mary Kay I. Iohnson. Al Cissman leaves his hull-k to shipbuilder Henry Kaiser. Art Huebner leaves the football team of '44 his little inspiration from '43, Walt Logsdon leaves his list of phone numbers to anyone ambitious enough to copy them. Bill Larson leaves the worries of a student body president to Bob Brending. lohnny Stone Wills his copy of "How to Influence Friends and Win Peo- ple" to King lohn l.
