' [ he outcome ot tlicse tests was the discovery ol new talent among the hoys. The hrst puhlic . ppearance for the hoys was a comhined pertormance with the girls at a Parent-Teacher ' s meeting, where they sang several numbers. The second appearance was hy themselves at another P-T-A meeting. Several hoys sang at the junior Broadcast . They participatetl in the singing contest at ( )glehay Park. To end the year, the hoys sang at the annual sermon and the commencement exercises. Next year the chortis will lose se ' eral ot its hest bass singers, who could get away down there , but a few ol the Freshmen hoys show a great promise of developing as deep, if not deeper, voices. H S GIRLS ' CHORUS Thirty-six girls were enrolled in the girls ' chorus this year. For the first time in the school the boys and girls ha e hail separate choruses. All the girls were given vocal tests by Miss Boggess and Miss Ethel t ' heck, the Ohio County super ' isor. (iirls chorus met on Tuesday by themselves and on Thursday they met with the boys.
