Fans cheering, helments clashing, smoke hurling towards the sky, this was Homecoming 74. Starting off the activ- ities was the powder puff football game on Wednesday night. The Junior-Sophomore team defeated the Senior-Freshman team by one touch down. Once again, student council sponsored an all-school barbecue on Thursday after- noon, followed by a caravan out to the bonfire. At the bon-fire, underclass atten- dants were named. They were freshman, Bruce Bell and Carrie Staasg sophomores, Julie Jones and Matt Mullins, andjuniors, Scott Corbridge and Liz Nicholas. It was held in a stone quarry near Wesley Willows. This years Junior Olympics were held during an assembly on Friday and consist- ed of eight different games going on simultaneous. These included doughnut eating, peanut pushing, and orange passing In the end, the Sophomore class used the least amount of time and won. Despite their hard efforts, the Warriors lost the Homecoming game to Boylan 28-13. During halftime, Beth Strohm was crowned Princess Wakwe and Mark Waters was crowned Prince Alowat Sakima.
