UPPER RIGHT: One of the assemblies we shall never forget was the one when the West High winners for the annual I Speak for Democracy con- test presented their essays. Mike Holauist, Maxine Ford, and Curtis Allison listen as Dave Martin, first place winner, tells of the impressions of a soldier in Korea.
