Basics Goin g Strong All Departments Active Classes were crowded, new books in short supply as the '78- '79 school year opened here at West. Two thousand and one hundred students enrolled in classes first semester to hnd many electives not offered. With cutbacks in evidence, many departments concentrated on the ofterings available. Every department maintained their basic skill courses providing some variety with electives. Pictured throughout this section are some of the typical classrooms in each department. The Business Education Department is made up of shorthand, office experience, typing, business law and introduction to business.
