Vikings Roll Z0 21 Game Winning Streak The 1978 Viking Football Team had a spectacular season, with the help of coaches Dallas Grider, Dave Titsworth, and lVlike Butcher. The Valley Title was looking good, but then they ran into a little bit of difhculty when they played Foothill High, which ended our 21 game winning streak. West High is the first school ever to win 21 games straight in the state. After the loss to Foothill, the Vikings moved onto the playoffs, in which lVlr. Whitney won the first game. No one should look down on our Viking Team, for they played a terrific season. We should be proud of them, like we have been in the past and like we will continue to be in the future - Viking Pride Is Still High!!
