With approximately 2,100 students enrolled in the fall, cutbacks in both faculty and support staff were evident. Classes were cancelled and no new personnel hired. Vacant positions were hlled through transfers within the district. Among classes eliminated were Advanced Biology, French I, Stage Productions, Crafts, Business Experience, some of the music groups, and all summer school classes. Other areas affected include, P.E. classes, Fine Arts, band equipment and general campus clean-up as the custodial staff was cut to save.
