Also showing promising poTenTiaI was The Blues BroThers. Larry Gajeski, senior class presidenT said, We knew we could do iT, we jusT had To prove iT To everybody eIse. His band received The winning cheer from The audience. Sfagefrigh T! From large vocal groups To small percussion acTs, WesT High STudenTs proved Their TalenT once again To crowded TheaTres. IT all began wiTh a Cappella, Then moved on To many oTh- er acTs. Vocal solos were sung by Jenny Sprague, Ann Kelso, and Amy Brown. Some of The special acTs were per- formed by oTher groups. Eric Becker, Robb Kerry, Terry MacVey, and Jim Stein per- formed a 50's song, as well as Kim Kurfenbach, Stephanie . fr 4 'TQ . l , Phelps and Lori Sharar. Betsy Schmieder and Eric Becker performed a vocal dueT, and Alys Snyder had a baTon solo. Shawn Lafrenz, Matt McCullough, Tony Teague, and MaTT Morrow performed a leg-slapping-clapping rou- Tlne.
