Al lhe presenl lime Sall Lalce Cily has an enrollmenl ol over l0,000 high school sludenls. During Mr. Ealon's incumbency as principal and assislanl superinlendenl ol schools, il would be impossible lo wrile lhe hislory ol any movemenl lor lhe good ol our high schools and leave Mr. Ealon's name oul. Besides lhis, because ol his line scholarship and wise counsel. he has been a lower ol slrenglh in our whole school syslem, bolh slale and cily. Mr. Ealon's reliremenl is a grievous loss lo our cily.
