These birds, To Them, were inmaTes oT The home oT The GreaT SpiriT, which was an island in The Blue Sea Toward The seTTing sun. They were regarded as birds Trom The mysTic world OT The GreaT SpiriT. Woe To The young warrior who Tried The swiTTness oT his arrow aT one OT Them. Around The campTire aT nighT The young people were Told The old sTory oT a parTy oT UTes who in Their boaT were Trying To round The poinT oT The land proiecTing Tar inTo The waTer. To make The boaT lighTer, a woman wiTh her children climbed heavily ouT oT The boaT To walk over The cliTT and meeT Them on The oTher side oT The poinT. As The voices calling To her grew indisTincT, she became conTused, goT losT, and began crying The lasT words, Go-over-go-over-ooven oover. For her unselTish service The C5reaT SpiriT changed her inTo a gull, which aways gave The same call ''Go-over-go-over-oover-oover.''
