BLACK HISTORY MONTH Foxy Lady February was Black History month here at West High. The program featured Warren Boles from the Mixed Blood theater doing Paul Robeson at a special auditorium. The performance depicted the life of Paul Robeson os he worked his way to fame as a concert singer. A fashion show narrated by Kevin Jenkins and Norma Overby presented styles for 1982. Other preformers were soloists Denise Thomas, Margaret Blanks, and Valerie Harpole. Dancing was Pot Owens. The school choir sang the Negro notional anthem. The M. C.'s were Nikki Oliver, and Lyn-ette Douglas. The last auditorium was Dr. Reginald Buckner and ensemble ploying jazz music from the last decode. Block History month showed spirit and contributed to West High's 'Best of Times The dazzling models of '82. 23
