Inspiration for Scholarship The finest gift that any class con leave to West High is a positive contribution to its best traditions. We believe that the record of the Class of '65 in terms of good scholarship, in outstanding performances in extra-curricular programs, and in high standards of school citizenship is most commendable. Good traditions inspire pride in one's school, and this is reflected not only in greater loyalty to school activities, but also in the higher standards that students are encouraged to set for themselves. FACULTY It would be well for us all to view the school year in retrospect and to attempt an evaluation of our scholastic and extracurricular achievements. The student body as a whole has displayed great scholastic potential. It is evident that the general goals of achievement at West have been high. The outstanding attendance at athletic events and social activities revealed a pride which all Westites have for their school. The student body at West has certainly exemplified spirit and co-operation. It is with a great deal of pride that we salute the Seniors for their fine contributions this year at West.
