SENIOR OFFICERS — John Hannon, Pam Anderon, Sue Coykendall, Tom Tennant. SENIOR CLASS OF 1956 The Senior class made up for its slow start in organizing by accomplishing a great deal. John Hannon was elected president, and Pam Anderson, Tom Tennant, and Sue Coykendall were vice president, treasurer, and secretary, respectively. Senior advisor, Mr. Casserly, was convinced that Seniors are inherently lazy — until he saw the spectacular results of the card-selling campaign. This turned out to be one of the really big money-raising projects of the year. The play which was chosen by the class for presentation was Samuel Taylor's Sabrina Fair.” Its two day run was one of the memorable experiences of the year. The entire cast, the director, Miss McLaughlin, and all of the various committees involved, worked hard and long to make the production a success. Suddenly, the class was caught up in a whirl of activity, which quickly led to that momentous day when the proud graduates received their diplomas. There were four valedictorians and one saluta-torian that year. Valedictorians were Craig Deutsche, Barbara Doran, Donald Masler, and Pete Townley. Elayne Rundberg was salutatorian. Page 12
