Westerner Staff Produces New Ideas This year's Westerner Staff added many new items to the Annual. For instance, the Westerner's outstanding Mr. and Miss Westerner and the new page designs. The annual members worked dili- gently to get the various projects done by the set deadlines. Final copy and captions had to be proof-read and corrected by the date set to send it in to be printed for tinals. Pictures had to be finished so the silver prints could come back in time tor printing. The sec- tions were made into black area, and finally, all pictures, final captions, and pages had to be sent into the printer. 1 Rodeo members, Judy Cisneros. Benny Romero, and Joy Miracle are diligently looking for new ideas for the Rodeo. West Students are Kept Informed of Activities Striving to keep the students at West informed on all activities, while at the same time, producing a high- quality newspaper is the chief g'oal of the students on the Rodeo Staff. Having been trained in the field of Journalism, these students have the skill and ability required for the Rodeo, while they are preparing themselves for a future occupation in the field of Journalism. These students are always busy interviewing teachers and students and collecting all the information that is to go into the future edition. After all information is collected and everything is typed and checked for errors, it is printed and readied for distribution to anxious students.
