O OLDER, WISER, HAPPIER SENIURS E were Freshmen in 1941! But there was little comfort in being one of the largest Hfreshieu classes. We were still mighty bewildered and a little scared by the new rules and regulations, all the halls, and rooms. Only a few of us were brave enough to join extra curricular activities that year. Our first competitive assembly was thrilling-remember? And then the first Orange and Black Day! This was important in our young lives for only one reason-no classes! With 'ffreshien pride we boasted of our good start at West. CHARLES R. CRAVEN FAC U LTY Then we became high and mighty Juniors. We were somebody! For the first time we began to look for- ward to the time when we would be Seniors. Again we won the Orange and Black Day competition and gave a successful assembly.
