She has been West's Head Girl, besides serving as the president, vicefpresident, or secretary of almost every organizaf tion to which she has be' longed. PEOPLE SAM LUSKY 6 President Sam Lusky, President-Well' liked by all his friends for wit and genuine ability in leader' ship, Sam has been heading some activity since his first year at West. After holding such high positions as Editor of the Rodeo, his candidacy for Head Boy was another proof of his friends' affection. S. P. Assuming second semester duties as Head Girl, Virginia rose fast in the school's favor. Leadership, combined with a pleasing personality, formed the basis of Bitsy's popularity. JOHN F URN EAU Head Boy, Second Semester Capable is wellfliked john Furneau, Cowboy Head Boy for the second halffyear. Modesty and a dynamic personality combined to make john one of the most popular and wellfknown students in West. Although high in scholastic standing and other enviable records, he wholefheartedly particif pated in a great many activities.

Senior Class Officers Second Semester TONY STONE Treasurer 9 Anthony Stone, Treasurer- The popularity of Tony is proved by the fact that he has been chosen by the class for an office every year since his en- trance at West. VIDA RHOTEN Vice President Vida Rhoten, Vice Pres' ident-Vida is wellfknown for her sincerity and def pendability in every re- spect. A member of many organizations, she is a firm believer in the Cowboys' system of government.
