From Los Angeles H.S. Track Let- ter, Lieut. R.O.T.C. CARROLL CARVER: As he moves amongst his schoolmates from day to day, he proves he's a gentleman in every way. WILLIAM CAVANAUGH: He is afraid of himself and scared of others: he doesn't consider the stu- dents his brothers.
