West's three great linesmen-Rogers Boysen, and Blackmore-stood out on the Cow- boy forward wall. This trio rushed Glass on every kick and could always be found at the bottom of the heap of West tacklers. Waltman scored for West in the third quarter on a pass. South scored in the last period on a pass to Wes Glass. Bob Hill missed the kick for the extra point. -vs- 112 , , A 7 . 61' up if 9 zz' ,ff ff sq 'H ' V X! rr I V 1 ' 1 4 U A 1 f, ' . 1 ' fz, c I ,., . ' f , f ' , - K t f fvy I ff If .9 3 - Ms i-155 ,

Guard ,I West 3'-Manual 2 A Will Roger's educated toe was again called into service and for the second time he gave West a one-point victory. West had the ball on the two-yard line but, in three attempts, failed to make a touchdown. Rogers was called back, and as Seidenberg held the ball, he kicked it through the goal posts. The Thunderbolts battled hard, but the Cowboy line stiffened on the nine-yard line. West took the ball on downs on the three-yard line. Seidenberg in- tentionally grounded the ball behind the goal line to give Manual a safettv. West kicked from the twenty-yard line and lVlanual's chances were lost. 113 767' f -
