Football The " est Campus football team, coached by Mr. Mendoza and Mr. Anderson had an up and down season, taking the first three games decisivley over Salesian, C.S.D., and Richmond, but losing the next three to Pinole Valley, El Cerrito, and Kennedy of Richmond. West Campus came fired up for the last game of the season against De Anza and managed a tie. Adam Clark led the hard hitting defense which allowed only twelve points in the first three games. The offense was led by running back Carl Moore and quarterbacks David Chai and Henry Whitmore. These people led the team to a 3-3-1 overall record and a 1-3-1 in RBAL league play. 65 66 67 Basketball The West Campus basketball team, coached by Dan Palley had a very successful season. Led by starting center; Troy Vann, forwards; Terry Burns, Ruben Phill, guards; Henry Whitmore and Darren Boyden. The team compiled a 14-6 overall record. This included big victories over Bishop O ' Dowd and San Lorenzo. In league play, the team had a 5-3 record and finished third. The West Campus baseball team, coached by Chico Mendoza, got off to a late start due to the rain this spring. Above- Hook silences Starkey ( Rachaei Rudnick ) with a flattening blow to the jaw. 89 90 The Student Council, shown above with advisor Levi Poe, met regularly to discuss school issues and to plan such activities as a candy sale, a variety show, and an end of year dance. The Droogs, right, prac- ticed ultra-violence to the strains of Beethovan symphonies. The West Campus Ski Club vent on two one-day trips and one overnight.
