Portions of the year are devoted to such activities as football, badminton, basketball, tumbling, softball, gymnastics, and other games. ' E HOME ECGNOMICS The purpose of Household Arts is to give students a clearer understanding of the responsibilities of ' family living and its relationship to life in our so- ciety. Personal grooming, care and selection of cloth- ing, sewing, home nursing, child care, food selection I and preparation, and budgeting of time and money are all included in this course. Starting in the 7th ' L 7 ' grade,pupils are exposed to all three subjects with the opportunity to select one in which to specialize in the junior and senior years. .
