In league tilts they had a 6 and 6 record for a .500 percentage. 'Hue team had 554 field goals and 321 fouls out of an attempted 664 for 1429 points scored in 23 games. The team had an average of 62+ points per game. W. A. opponents had 466 field goals, 312 fouls for 1244 points and an average of 54+ points per game. Although john didn't play ball in the junior high, he made the B squad when he was a sophomore. He started the season on the varsity squad in his junior year but was forced to quit due to a knee injury. Butch came back his senior year as the best defensive player on the squad.
