izz Qoffiai The Fizz Ed Follies is an annual event sponsored by the athletic department of the senior high. The theme for the 1955 follies was Under the Big Top in which approximately 200 students participated. Clowns, dancers, and skilled artists dis- played their talents before record breaking crowds for two evening performances. S Y sters ended their 1954-55 season with the best record compiled by any W. A. team. They ended up in fourth place in Section IX. During the complete season, the team won 15 and lost 8. In league tilts they had a 6 and 6 record for a .500 percentage. 'Hue team had 554 field goals and 321 fouls out of an attempted 664 for 1429 points scored in 23 games. The team had an average of 62+ points per game. W. A. opponents had 466 field goals, 312 fouls for 1244 points and an average of 54+ points per game. Although john didn't play ball in the junior high, he made the B squad when he was a sophomore. He started the season on the varsity squad in his junior year but was forced to quit due to a knee injury. Butch came back his senior year as the best defensive player on the squad.
