Fall house parties fea- tured a square dance and a hirdwalk and October 18th was set aside as Parentis Day. The Spring Sing, with groups from Well- esley and Holyoko. the Jihcrs and Cardinals, and Eclecticas own Spooky Sewn and Moon-Muids, was highly regarded. Dave Jen- kins ran the C. B. Committee 011 Freshman Orientation, aided by Terry Hatter and Harvey Lerner in the Senate. Two varsity captains were elected from tho housr for 1952, Bill Tcuchout in soccer and Jim Sailor in squash. The past spring the house tied for first in softball, saw its. senior delega- tion graduate with an honors average. and indulged in the sec- ond Triad party with Alpha Dolt and Beta. The brothers hold the annual alumni gathering over Amherst week end and enter- tained the faculty at a tea during.r the course of the fall. Bill Christopher and Tom Keena had leads in both fall plays. The Sig haskcthall machine rumhlod into action with brothers An- derson, Banks and Kummor at the helm. The house also spon- sored tournaments in bridge and ping-pong. 31
