•h: FOREWORDS H EREIN do you behold the last re¬ corded years of the Class of ’29, first¬ born of Wesleyan the New. Out from her arched colonial doors we go, and the fragile swinging lanterns throw their light before our feet, like the love and care of Alma Mater. In our hearts we bear the peace, the hope, the confidence that fellowship within her walls has brought us. To this book there is a secret clasp, which, pressed in later years, will call before our eyes the ghosts of pages, too many and too dear for print, leaves clear or blurred, that these two covers bind—which we alone may see. Herein you may behold some of the bright¬ er scenes selected from innumerable charming pictures of these days.
