The view across the broad Missouri River valley presents a magnificent physiographic study and is one wlildl is; ' for Rcenio beauty. On one of tlu bluffs f«f the river not far from where Wentworth Militaiy Academj ' stands was fought the battle of Lexington, which was an important battle of tlie late Civil War. Lexington is an old town an l its population includes many of the oldest and most cultured families of the state.
