HoBsnN. now of ihe McCormick Theolofpcal Seminary, wns chosen as Principal, and the present Superintendent was selected as his associate. In April, 1881, a charter was secured, and the school was authorized to confer such ' degrees and marks of distinction as are usually granted by literary institutbns.
