WELLS HIGH SCHOOL COMMUNITY ADVISORY COUNCIL The Wells High School Community Advisory Council was formed in l95l for the purpose of establishing greater understanding of the problems of the school and the community. The leaders of business and other groups have contributed from their experi- ence to the changing school curriculum. They have also been active in pro- moting scholarships to deserving graduates and to increasing the number of Wells High School's graduates who go to schools of higher learning. They are at present cooperating in the Near Northwest Planning Commissions program of neighborhood improvement and development. An increase in automobile parking space and the creation of an area recreation field are two current aims of the Council.
