The Student Council serves as a mediator between the faculty and the student body, provides a means by which the students may participate in the school government and does all that is possible to provide for the welfare of the school. The more important duties of the council have been the formation of the demerit system and the holding of hearings on resulting casesg the care of the bulletin board, and assisting in arranging school assemblies, dances, and the annual Christmas party.
