Something just passed us I think it must have been a streak of lightning No, wait, that wasn't lightning That was Joan Schwarz in her 'Do It Yourself' rocket Sne must be doing 10,000 miles per hour Oh, well, she always was faster than the rest of the class Well, the rest of our journey should be very pleasant are now approaching the moon's atmosphere Closer, and closer, suddenly from the loud speaker comes a voice saying, 'Fasten your safety belts, pleaseH Reverse rockets slowly now We are landing on the moon The vegetation is charteruse and flamingo So beautiful But what is this strange creature ooming toward us???? Why, it's no one other than Leonard L Smith Rushing from the rocket, I ask him how he beat us to the moon Pls answer was, 'I took some of the brilliant ideas that the '57 geography class came up with and built me a roller coaster down Mt Everest that it took After we all walked around stay for awhile, at least the which got up enough speed coming me straight here non stop!!! for awhile everyone de ided next ten years, and then go back to the earth again So until then GOOD-BYE, EARTH PEOPLE!!! Bobby Harrelson and Bill Ruesewald, the two noblemen are left all the great loves of Jackie Bolden Ruby Fryman leaves her ability to be called baby, t a qui t young lass by the name of Betty Raby Charlene Massey who is a great talker, leaves her lungs Barbara Jean Nalker The Senior Class wills the right to Ray Mross, Sonny Norsworthy, and Leon Glenn to grow up to be stron men To Lucy Rudd the right to lead one cheer by Eugen'a Hamilton who led them all vear Shlpp and Glenda Ball who are too tall Gloria Blair with hair of plenty, leaves to Dian Johnson who hasn't any Joanna Cart her ability to giggle leaves to Kenneth Rennicke in stead of her wiggle J D Nright's ability to flirt with anv girl, wills it to Bobby Chris Rorex who doesn't know how Daisy Sefers, Betty Strange and Janie Roach the mouskeeters are left the job of cleaning the gum from under the chairs The Senior Class by all means wills Carole Scholze, Daisy Senteney, and Margaret Dale the right to wear jeans Reta French, the Senior Class President, leaves to Cora Etta McKnight the ensemble chair that she bent Eunice Conway who sings so well leaves the right to Harold Bryant and Jimmy Callison who doesn't do so w ll Dan Simpkins leaves to Laverne Cooper and Willie Cox the sat isfaction of seeing him wear odd color socks Lillie Mayfield her job on the paper she leaves good luck to J W Fu natter who doesn't need it at all The Sen ors gladly lend a good hand and leave David Wilkins thinking ere are 13 women to every man Bett Wadklns leaves her dark complexion to be handled with care to harry Neeley whose is light and fair To Etta Jane Norris and Louise Conway we beoueath the evidence of graduation day Joan Schwarz her unpaid bills to Carlis Bowen she gladly wills Wilma Simpkins her ability to make an A in bookkeepnng she gladly wills to Fowler Wolf and Herb rt Hammell who won't get by sleeping To the Junior Class we leave to vou, an agreement of whlch had few To the Sophomore Class who wish to go to college, e leave you our used up knowlege Our good sense to the Freshmen we render b azse heir brains are so young and tender PR P CY -5 . -1 , e We J c to o e A V to Hazel Walker leaves a crooked saw to Verna Ruth Wasterman, Joan ' , e N it , ' we ' - w to

Our first year of High School started in September 1033 began our Freshmen year Class officers were--Ruby Fryman, Pres I ident, Hazel Walker, Vice President Joanna Cart, Secretary Gloria Blair, Treasurer Charlene Massey, Reporter These officers were elected for all year long There were 3 enrolled in our class Our Halloween queen and king were Joanne Cart and Jerry Wayne Hickman Mr Gene Catterton was our sponsor Our Sophomore year began September 6 of 195i Mr Jesse Mahan was our sponsor We had many activities Our class officers were --Ruby Fryman President Fetty Wadkins, Vice President, Hazel Walker, Secretary and Treasurer Gloria Blair, Reporter Our Halloween queen and king were Ruby Fryman and Dan Simpkins Our Junior year began on September S l9ES Mr Don Shelton was our sponsor This was a very exciting year for us. started everything off by electing class officers, who wereg Letty Wadkins, President Dan Simpkins, Vice President, Gladys HO5ePtS, Secretary and Treasurer, Joanna Cart, Reporter Christmas, Gl dys married, so we elected Hazel Walker t be OUP S9f'r'9t9Py Find treasurer Our motto was The Door To Success Is Labeled Push Our colors Blue and Silver, flower ardenia Our lalloween queen and king were Eunice Conway and J D Wright On November 2l we were Jery happy for e received our class r'ngs On March lb we presented our class play 'Girls are Like TUBUH, it was a great success After a few weeks of school we a our sneak day The biggest event was the sponsoring of the Junior Senior Banouet and Prom, which we financed Our theme was HColon1al or Southern We wish to thank everyone for the praise we received We were happy when September 3 of l956 came, for on that day we beca e Seniors Mr Smith was our sponsor and our class officers were Reta French, President, J D Wright, lice Presi dent, Hazel Walker, Secretary and Treasurer Lillie Mayfield, Reporter Our colors are blue and silfer At graduation the yrls will wear write gowns and the boys will wear blue Our flower is the White Rose Our motto is The Door To Success Is Labeled Pushu Our Halloween queen and king were Lillie Mayfield and Jackie Bolden During the first month we ordered our invitations nd had our senior pic ures made Oct 15 we had a bunking party at Eugenia Ham1lton's Oct 17 was a big night for the dignified seniors We first had a hamburger fry at Mr Sm1th's tnen attended a play at ASC, and to top the evening off the girls had e bunking party at Hazel Walker's Oct 23 some f he class went to Jonesboro to hear the United States Air Force Band and play entitled nMama's Baby Boy It was a very funny and success ful play Dec l we went to the college to see another play On December 21 we rad our Christmas Party at Mr Smith's Then Jan 25 the Seniors, along with the Juniors, went to Little Rock YOP the day On January 31 we had a bunking party at Ruby pr man's We are looking forward to our next play y Class Night is May lO Baccalaureate May l2 Commencement May 13 We will leave for our class trip on May 20 CLASS J I 4 .lx 5 we ' 3 S g . .
