Emphasis this year was placed upon improvement of the Guidance Center, where students had readily-available catalogues from colleges and uni- versities across the nation, supple- mented with an updated and revised pamphlet and brochure file on col- leges, and also, a new complete file of scholarships offered by schools and companies. Such semester courses as basic design, drawing and paint- ing, printmaking, ceramics, art history, and advanced commer- cial design were offered to give Mr, David Hill Missloyce Williams Cross Country Coach Head Coach Track Chairman of Art Department Chairman of Methods Council the student a basic art back- ground, as well as provide an op- portunity for each student to work at his own level.
