What do you mean, it melted? What has the class of '59 been up to this year? In physics lab they investigat- ed the weight which had to be placed in a cart and the angle of the inclined plane which would allow the cart to demolish the opposite wall. Non-Euclidian minds struggled with geometry and discovered many varied uses for the compass. iStudy Hall still bears the marks.l ln English Ill along with Shakespeare and lbsen they discussed the relative merits of socks and handkerchiefs. Here they went their sep- arate ways to Paleontology, French, Modern History, and Latin. Friday nights Juniors orated in Debating Society, clowned in their choir stalls, blew out fuses in Electronics Club, and read lboth inside and outsidel. They com- posed the maiority of the football team, and could be found daily in uniform chewing their fingernails. Junior cagers were the backbone of the basketball team, and strong Junior arms bolstered the baseball team. They elected three class officers, but we will not mention them, other than to say that Ray Lind- quist, Jim Hall, and Tom Kersten did not buy class rings. Mr. McMillin served as class adviser. '59
