Between the various snake dances, bon fires, parades, and homecoming dances, our photographer was able to catch these shots. lt seems we all remember our snake dance from the old high school to the new, and our bon fire where we op- timistically threw a Nevada tiger to its doom. lt was a chance for us to all get together with friends and exhibit the pride we have in W.C.H.S. There's a lot of memories behind us with many more to come.

T i. Ht? i. 7 . w pl 15 Mr. Daugherty discusses publlclty for dedication of new school with Joplin Globe reporter. Many W.C.H.S. students found in 72-73 that the key to a successful and happy high school life is to participate. Whether they got in- volved with various clubs, or further involved in their classes, or with the school, the answer proved the same: The key to success is in- deed participation. The conference champion basketball team prov- ed to be a major source of this involvement as it would be hard for one to remember a single group that united the W.C. student body as this year's cage squad did. The entire school got behind them and displayed our pride and school spirit to all. 13
