SENIORS OF 1960-61 SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS President, Andy Hagara Vice President, Bill LeRoy Secretary-Treasurer, Diana Ultican SENIOR CLASS HISTORY As Commencement day approached we seniors paused to reminisce our three years at Weatherwax. Our first thoughts were of our Sophomore year and the excitement of entrance into high school. Eva Jenkins presided during that first year with the able assistance of the other officers, Jeff Yearout, Vice-President, and Julie Anne McCaw, Secretary-Treasurer. The entire class supported the annual Sophomore Hop which was one not to be forgotten. We worked with the same enthusiasm on the March of Dimes Drive. Our Junior year began with the election of our officers, Jeff Yearout, Susie Wolff, and Joanne Janzik. The charity drive was our biggest project. We had a rummage sale, a bottle drive, and sold ads for the radio. With the help of the Senior class, we presented the Junior-Senior Ball, its theme being Blue Hawaii . Our final year at Weatherwax arrived at last. Andy Hagara, Bill LeRoy, and Diana Ultican were elected President, Vice-President, and Secretary-Treasurer respectively. Our senators were: Joanne Janzik, Pam Gaunt-lett, Andrienne Gudaz, Susie Wolff, John Banks, Jeff Yearout, John Mainio, and Rich Corsette. The Senior play, A Murder Has Been Arranged, provided an opportunity for Susan Bielski, Bob Pruitt, Karen Knutson, Ray Wasson, Sheila Marrs, Sharon Branford, John Hughes, John Mainio, and Joyce Wilkinson to display their dramatic talents. The class assembly and Junior-Senior Ball were fun-filled events. On the serious side were the March of Dimes Drives, awards assembly, Baccalaureate, and finally Commencement. Now we depan, taking with us many memories of —14— the wonderful times we had in dear old Weatherwax.”
