The next week Wayzata lost its conference opener to the Mound Mohawks by the count of 14 to 12. It was a close contest all the way. but the point-after-touchdown proved the vital factor. Perhaps if the boys had pulled through with a victory here, the season rec- 0rd would have looked better. Our Homecoming game was our best. as the boys smashed Chaska 33 to 0. The squad was obviously verv inspired by the Homecoming festivities as they rolled up T.D. after T. . The last three tilts were lost to very tough clubseSt. Louis Park. The West game was very rough as the more experienced and heavier Minne- apolis club had httle trouble in downing the Wayzata boys. The last game of the entire football season, played with Princeton. was a cold affair, the smaller men from Princeton surprised evervnne and they pulled out an 18 to 0 victory. The starting lineup for the Trojans was the following: Ends. Chuck Stryker and John Jones; tackles. Bob Miller and Marly Bloom: guards. Clark Sundblad. Ken Leuer and Lowell ZitzlmT: eenter. Wilson; backfield. Ken Quast. Dave Mayer. Don Streeter. Les Oare. Tommy Moeger and Frank Sehiehe.
