This organization is noted for its ability g1j5wff v 1ff - 3 if if to create a better understanding between. the parents and the teachers. - M Q During the year, the meetings have been honored by the presence of several out-of-town speakers. At one meeting Rev. J. D. Boyd of gfafin gigggif Coffeyville, gave an interesting talk on Modern Trends of Education. -- 'gg A 'A' 'MMT ' 'i'u J At another meeting Mr. Prather and two assistants from Independence, 5' T- 'i --',:..ri1..f:qh.E4niL.l.r-, 5 ' .3 E gig 1, gave an interesting First Aid demonstration. County Attorney Richard I A I 5. Becker also gave a talk at one of the meetings. Mrs. Manie Weber, V V W f County Superintendent of Schools has visited our P.-T. A. meetings ir? I ' is it . ' 5 -5 fe my - fl several times. gg 1' 1 ES? g I V. Through the help of the people in this community the P.-T. A. Q fi A A 5 52 has been able to accomplish several things. With the co-operation of the lf 52 2 ,523 mothers of the pupils hot lunches have been served to the pupils living 2 E5 3 ia in the country. With this accomplishment the class of the grade school ii 5 was raised to Class A. The standard of the high school has also been 5 Improved. The P.-T. A. has helped to pay for the girls' liasketball uni- FQ lf at Q54 Q forms: it also bought a large set of silverware this year. f . .. f The P.-T.
