Editor-in-Chief, Melody Weygandtg Art, Amy Chilesg Release, Cyndy Swartz, Circulation, Hope Blank Literary, Glen Yaleg Sports, Carla Jacobs: Feature, Trudie Sniderg News, Jill Winegardner, SENIORS EDIT TIGER TYPE This year's Tiger Type staff published 5 edi- tions, Two of them were centered around Football and Basketball season. More art work and interest stories were added, The main change of the paper was the removal of the elementary and Jr. High sections, thus making it totally a high school news-' paper, The paper was sold at 1Ogt per copy to help defray the cost of paper, stencils and ink. The usual Senior edition could not be printed ' due to a breakdown in the mimeograph machine, Miss Rambo served as faculty advisor, Melody Weygandt and Amy Chiles work after school on the newspaper,

I Q . l 1 Q . 5 ROW I: Fred Pepple, Glen Yale, ROW ll: Trudie Snider, Melody Weygandt, ROW III: Philip Yale, Randy Carter, Hope Blank, Amy Chiles, Carla Jacobs, Sheryl Cummings, ROW IV: Mr. Bayliff, Jana Arthur, Kathy Kaufman, Connie Arthur, Judy Lawrence, Cathy Chiles, Clarissa Bodell, Janice Snider, LeMarill Rehn, ANNUAL COMPLETED AT LAST MINUTE Mr. Bayliff, yearbook advisor, works on the ad pages of the book, The annual staff began its year's work by sell- ing advertisements for the yearbook, Staff members sold ads in September through December, Next they took orders for this year 's book. Actual planning and layouts didn't begin until early April. A few preparations were made at this time, but due to a lack of interest by most staff members, progress was slow, Editor Glen Yale and Senior section editors Amy Chiles, Trudie Snider, Melody Weygandt and Hope Blank, with the help of a few underclassmen, worked from May 19th until the second week in June to fin- ally complete the book and meet their deadline, Mr. Bayliff served as staff advisor.

BAND RECEIVES I RATING For the second year in a row W-G's concert band received a I at contest. They were judged on a requiredinumber, two numbers selected by Mr, Nihiser, and the usual number which the band must sight read, In addition to marching band activities in the Fall, the band played at the Fall, Christmas, Con test, and Spring concerts, they played at contest and for Commencement exercises, This year's officers were Glen Yale, Presidentg Liza Rone, Vice Presidentg Roger Sanders, Secretary- Treasurerg Cyndy Swartz, Senior Representative, Robin Arthur, Junior Representative: Jim Spahglerf Sophomore, Representative, andCreg Herman, Mr. Nihiser directing the band and pre- Freshman Representative. paring them for contest, ll' ROW ONE: Fred Pepple, Jeff Bayliff, Judy Lawrence, Sheryl Cummings, ROW TWO: Diane Riff, Malia Price, LeMarril Rehn, Renay Carter, Jean Tippie, Liza Rone, Clarissa Bodell, Shelva Sheets, ROW THREE: Cyndy Swartz, Cheryl Gillette, Kathy Kaufman, Ruth Young, Peggy Byers, Becky McPherson, Marlene Dixon, Carol Bowsher, Marlene Line, Cyndy Lane, ROW FOUR: Cathy Amburgy, Diane Knoch, Pam Ball, Carla Jacobs, Charles Stocker.
