CO-QUEENS REIGN by AT W-G HOMECOMING 153' g Each year the student body chooses a Senior girl to reign as Homecoming Queen, but this year tradi- tion was broken as two girls tied for the honors, Melody K. Weygandt, and Trudie Fae Snider were crowned as the 1970 -71 Homecoming Co-Queens on October 16, 1970, Melody, the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. William Weygandt, was escorted by Senior Captains Dennis Dawson and Marty Weygandt, Trudie, the daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Bill Snider, was escorted by Senior Captains Roger Sanders and Mark Fuerst, ' The Queens' Court, also chosen by the student body, consisted of: Carla Jacobs, Senior attendant, escorted by Seniors Rick Barnes and Greg Sniderg Jan Babcock, Junior attendant, escorted by Seniors Tom Sutherland and Kevin Babcockg Sandy Horn, Sophomore attendant, escorted by Seniors Kim Turner and Dennis Youngg and Alice Turner, Freshman attendant, escorted by Juniors Randy Painter and Ed Golliday, The Junior Court included: Renae Walker, Jeff Schultz, Joleen Chiles, and Todd Rice. Although the weather was cold and the game was lost, the girls were a success and spirits remained high at the Student Council sponsored Homecoming dance the following night,
