FRESHMAN GLASS The Freshman Class of 1941-42 entered school in 1932-33 with 44 students. During our first year three more students entered our class making a total of 47 students. We have held the record of being the largest class in school off and on during our nine years of scholastic training. We entered Junior High with 44 students. Our 7th grade class officers were: Pres. Brooks Jacobs, Vice Pres. Virginia Sheipline, Secre- tary and Treasurer, james Edgington. News Reporter, Dick Rash and student council, Frank Rinehart. When entering junior High we really thought we were growing up. When in 8th grade class we were defeated by the 7th grade class in the Sportsmanship contest and we changed our minds. Our officers for the 8th grade were: Betty Wilson, Pres., Gene Miller, Vice President, Sec., Marilyn Newland, Treas. Paul Binkley, Student Council Ruth Ann Morris and News Reporter Mary Louise Murphy. We graduated from the eighth grade into Freshman being maltreated by our upper classmen. The Freshmen broke the record in the Red Cross Donations. We contributed 86.25. Our Freshman officers are: Pres., Paul Binkleyg Vice Pres., Dick Rash, Sec., Marilyn Newland, Treas., Mary Louise Murphy, News Reporter, Ruth Ann Morris, and Student Council, Betty Wilson. The Freshman of 1941-42 have found Senior High school exciting and very interesting. Some have decided what they probably will do in the future and have prepared their studies for it. We the Freshman of 1941-42 hope to go through school, graduate together and go out into the world as a success. EVELYN DeCAMP
