?f?Qf1f E2 Editorial The 1931 issue of The Wayne is now a part of our school history. It is hoped that all who read its pages and scan the pictures will have renewed within them pleas- ant memories of days spent in Wayne High. We wish to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed in any way to the publication of this issue of our school Annual. Special mention should be made of the Editor and Business Manager, Robert Wilcox and Maxwell Shaw for their untiring efforts in arranging the materials and planning the general outlineg Roy Da- visson for the art workg Mr. E. Benj. Yale for his valuable suggestions in the technical phases of workg the Camp Publishing Company of Ypsilanti, Michigan for the photo- graphic workg and finally to our splendid list of advertisers without whose generous response our annual would not be possible. As faculty manager of the 1931 Annual it is not out of place to state that it has been genuine pleasure to act as general advisor of the activities pertaining to the work. The Editor of every department without exception has shown a spirit of loyalty beyond criticism. The values gained by such a project where all are united in promoting one common task are indeed of no small proportions. To the students of Wayne High your annual will have a meaning deeper than words and we hope that for all others who may possess a book that it will be the means of adding a little cheer if in the future sometime, dark clouds may chance to cast a shadow across your way. -B. R. FORD, supt. .-.---w -H6230
