Since retiring from the New England Telephone and Tele- graph Company he has done a great deal for his own and surrounding com- munities. He writes a weekly news- letter which he finances himself that goes all over the world to the boys in the Service. He has made many efforts toward clean. hard, competitive relationships between Weston and Wayland. For several years he has sponsored the Annual Weston-Wayland Basketball Dinner. Ten years ago he was given a life pass to all our games. and three years ago the school awarded him an orange We, the Class of 1958, proudly dedi- cate this year's Reflector to Austin S. Hale. I AW 5
