,gap VW E WA:-n5gAN s 'Q i952 V I Y L P412 tummy-six HERNDON-PANGBORN FLIGHT HEADQUARTERS HOTEL WALDORF-ASTORIA NEW YORK Editor, Wehisoan Wausau High School Wausau, Wisconsin December 25rd, 1951. sk me in your letter of Decem- ou a , ber 16th, for a very indefinite something, described as sentence or even just a word. l will a short message, , try to do my best. l think that you are doing an excellent thing when you dedicate The Wahiscan' to aviation. The whole business of aviation needs a great many more boosters like yourself and members of your school. There are too ' th'n of ro- eo le that still think of flying as a 1. g WHY P P mance and not as a great, coming means of transportation. Aerial travel offers speed, comfort and safety, and don't let the un-progressive and backward citizens tell you any different. Just because some green barnstormer cracks up now and then, don't think that flying is unsafe. The press, unfortunately, still gives a lot of space' to the death of one or two people killed in airplanesg but you never think n that are killed each year by auto- twioe about the ma y mobiles and trains. lf there are any h future please definite questions that you don't hesitate to ask, may have in t e , 1 d to try to answer them. because l will be only too g a 125 East 50th Street. ysffvuwfw fx '
