Bud Munson. Dan Schlote, Mike Thorell. Darren Van ness. Todd Weber. Mark Wrick, and Kim Yunker. Returning for their second year of school were 22 eager Sophomores. Homecoming attendents were: Jill Dawson and Ken Claussen. Prom Waitresses were: I iura Anderson. I»ri Anderson. Sarah Johnson. Jill Dawson. Joyce Friedrich. Waiters were: Ken Claussen. Troy Barger. Mike Thorell. Darren Yanness. and Mark Wrick. The fall of 1988 brought 21 anxious Juniors back to W.H.S. with Kim Yunker leaving and Jim Sanders joining us. Troy Barger and Joyce Friedrich were Homecoming Attendents. The Junior ('lass Play was. “Who Shook the Family Tree. , directed bv Mr. Gary Lundberg. The Juniors honored the Seniors at the Junior-Senior Prom. Returning for their last year of high school were 21 excited and “ready to graduate Seniors. Senior Attendents were («aura Anderson. Troy Barger. Joyce Friedrich, and Darren Vanness. Lori Ander- son and Ken Claussen were crowned King and Queen. “The Jury Room , directed by Mr. Lundberg was presented by the Seniors on April 15. 1988. The Seniors were the guests of the Juniors at the Prom on April 29. 1988. Baccalaureate was held on May 8. 1988. The four years of high school have l»een real and fun!!!

COMMENCEMENT The Wausa Public School Com- mencement Exercise was held in the W. H. Johnson Gymnasi- um on Sunday, May 15, 1988. The Commencement address was given by the Valedictorian, Todd Weber, and Salutatorian, Lance Carlson. The class was presented by Superintendent Robert Rogers. Dwaine Kumm awarded the Seniors with their diplomas. Scholarship awards and honors were given by Mrs. Wakeley and Mr. Wamberg. Todd Weber and Joyce Frie- drich were honored as the All- Around Boy and Girl.
